Shooting for Keeps Photography was created to capture those special memories in your life that you want to freeze in time and capture forever. My goal is to not only provide you with a beautiful image you can treasure for a lifetime but also a wonderful experience and something you will never forget.
I am a wife to an amazing man and a mother of two year old twins. After having my twins is when my passion really grew for photography. They were born 7 weeks early and the first month of their life was spent in a dark hospital room with cords, machines and well, ugly lighting everywhere you turned! Needless to say, I did not have ANY good pictures of our family during that time and I didn't get newborn pictures done until they were 5 weeks old. I think being deprived of any quality documentation of that special point in my life really pushed me to want to prevent anyone else from missing the chance to capture those special moments. After all, these are moments you will NEVER get back!
